How Omivera's Cellular Kinase Profiling Platform is Reshaping Cancer Drug Discovery
Omivera, a spin-out from Leiden University, has become a partner within Oncode Accelerator, and is now contributing its expertise in chemical proteomics and activity-based protein profiling to Oncode Accelerator’s growing oncology ecosystem. Through our Small Molecules Workstream, drug developers can now access CellEKT: Omivera’s patented cellular kinase selectivity platform. -
Quantitative Rigor and Collaborative Development: How Seqalis Strengthens Therapeutic Cancer Vaccine Development
Spun out from the Institut de Pathologie et de Génétique at Gosselies Biopark, Belgium, 23 years ago, the company Seqalis has since grown into a state-of-the-art multi-platform analytical services company offering enabling technologies ranging from cytogenomics, to next-generation sequencing (NGS) applications, to its flagship innovation: a patented quantitative T-cell receptor sequencing platform (qTCR-Seq). These capabilities are instrumental for addressing some of the most challenging frontiers in cancer research and care. Seqalis’ mission: to provide cutting-edge, high-quality laboratory testing and techniques coupled with medico-scientific advisory and research and development services. In service of that mission, Seqalis has now joined the Oncode Accelerator ecosystem as a partner within the Therapeutic Vaccines Workstream. -
From Organoids to Patients: The Translational Journey Behind the RASTRIC Trial
When a drug screen in organoids pointed them towards a new drug combination against a subtype of colorectal cancer, researchers from University Medical Center Utrecht (UMC Utrecht) wanted to test it in patients. The journey from lab to clinic took ten years, three disciplines, and a risk-tolerant funding model. It led to an unexpected destination.
